Minnesota North Shore Weddings - The Best Way to Elope!

As a Midwest elopement photographer, the North Shore of Minnesota is one of my favorite places to work. So, when K & D came to me looking for a North Shore elopement package, I was already beaming ear to ear and eager to help them plan.

Quite a few couples I chat with are interested in North Shore weddings, but don’t know where to start with finding a venue or the permitting process. Planning a North Shore MN elopement can seem overwhelming at first, especially if you don’t visit the area often. As long as you’re prepared, it’s not as stressful as it sounds -  especially if you have me, a North Shore wedding and elopement photographer, as your tour guide and planning assistant!

So, why do I think all couples should consider a North Shore MN wedding at a state park?

Nature is your venue!

Gone are the days of googling “North Shore MN wedding venues” - the great outdoors can be your venue instead! While there are some added considerations like accessibility and rain plans, outdoor weddings are a great way to simplify the planning process. Depending on when you choose to elope in Minnesota, it can be waaaay easier to book a permit to elope in a Minnesota park than reserve a traditional venue.

You don’t have to invest as much in decor.

With the amazing North Shore of Minnesota as the backdrop to your elopement, you really don’t need a budget for florals, table decor, or fancy archways. The landscape is breathtaking and truly speaks for itself!

On your Minnesota North Shore elopement, you can invite exactly who you want to join you.

The process of finding a venue that checks all of your boxes can be really frustrating. You really have to find the perfect sized venue to avoid having your reception feel too cramped or even too empty (helloooo, awkward dance floor space!). While some parks have caps at how many guests you can bring along with you, there’s definitely a lot more flexibility: you can most likely elope at the same park whether you decide to elope just the two of you or if you want to invite twenty of your favorite people to your North Shore microwedding!

Are you really intrigued by eloping, but don’t know where to start with planning a North Shore wedding or a Minnesota elopement? Does the idea appeal to you, but maybe you’re not a ultra hiking enthusiast, or are a little worried about whether you can plan an adventure elopement with your ability or mobility limitations?

Rest assured, eloping is for everybody! I’m here to help you find the perfect Minnesota elopement destination, whether you’re looking to backpack along the Superior Trail or have your guests drive to your elopement at Palisade Head. I have a MN North Shore elopement package for everyone - submit an inquiry to get started planning the adventure elopement of your dreams!
